    Dear Swamins

One of my nephew is not in a position to take leave. His wife is in her fathers place. He needs minimum 10 days to come over to his wifes place.

Is it possible to conduct seemandam without his presence?

    Kindly give your views

    Re: Seemantahm

    Sri:
Shastra is allowing that Seemantham can be done without husband.

The samskaram can be done by Brother in law, Father in law or even by the vadhyar
but with slight difference in the prayogams.
