Post new thread

Post new thread is ok and meaningful. Why then it is split into post and thread. What does it mean. What is the difference. How do you seperate it. Is it not confusing. Could somebody explain.

A thread is to be started fist by any member with a new title and his message will be the fist post on it.

But a post may be the first message of a new thread or a reply to the previous post on a thread already started.

Simply : A thread will have only one title with minimum one or any number of posts.

First one should start a thread. What is that thread. A post is a message that itself become a sentence. Then where from the thread come .If it is mentioned "post a message" it is meaningful. Post a thread is meaningless.
