Yogi Adithyanath is the choice of majority of elected MLAs of UP. He is the "Mahanth" of influential temple and Math of " Nath Sampradaya" the Ghoraknath Temple situated at Gorakhpur in Eastern UP. They have a huge following in Eastern UP and Nepal. It is believed the word "Gorkha" is derived from this only.
Yogi Adithyanath a post graduate (M.Sc) in Mathematics is a brilliant Parliamentarian who fought for the causes that he believed fearlessly in Parliament and outside. A khshtriya by birth, well versed in "vedic" rituals under his guru (late)Mahanth Avaidhyanath and follows simple life of a yogi. He was selected by BJP to head the biggest State, for his exemplary qualities of absolute honesty, simplicity and dedication to serve.
