Prapandam is also called தமிழ் மறை
ஶ்ரீ ஸ்வாமி தேசிகன் தன்னை "சந்தமிகு தமிழ் மறையோன்" என்று கூறிக்கொள்கிறார்.
Prapandams are extract/essence of Vedas.
All Sri Vaishnavites are calling them as "ஶ்ரீ.உப.வே"
Do you know what is the meaning of this Ue Ve?
Ue Ve = Ubhaya Vedanti
Ubhaya means Two
what are those two Vedams?
Sanskrit Vedam and Tamil Vedam
வேடிக்கை என்னவென்றால்,
ஶ்ரீ.உப.வே என்ற சுருக்கத்திற்கு விரிவு என்ன என்பதும்
இது எதற்காக உபயோகப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது என்பதும் தெரியாதவர்களும்
தங்களுக்கு ஶ்ரீ.உப.வே என்று போடவில்லை என்று வாதிடுவார்கள்.
So, there in no mistake of reciting Prapandam on Shastiabdapoorthi
but
in practical, time since we did mistake by avoiding the recitation of prabandam on subhams
so, it may make a little negative sense for few people who do not aware of this facts.
