    maasigam and aapthigam for brahmachary

    Dear Sir, Kindly clarify the procedure to be followed for death of brahmachary who is having only cousin brothers -regarding maasigams and varushapthigam etc. who has to perform etc. His last rites was performed by someone taking kaipill from the eldest sister.

    My younger brother's only son, a Brahmachary, expired a couple of days ago. Are all the rituals meant for elderly people (who expire), like 10th Day, 12th Day, Subasyam (13th Day), Maasikam, Varushaptikam, annual srathams etc to be performed by the departed soul's father ?
