  • SRI CHURNAM

    I had opportunities of conversing with a few devout Ahobila Mutt swamigal accompanying His Holinesss

    the 45th Jeer when one occasion I broached the matter of eligibility of sporting yellow sri churnam;

    I was given to understand that generally after Samasranai one could use yellow sri churnam but as you

    rightly pointed out nowadays everyone tends to bend the rule to suit their convenience. Another

    doubt lingers in my mind as to why most thenkalai iyengars are using red sri churnam and not yellow. What

    have you to say Swamin? Many thanks.
