Dear Swamin

Adyen Dasan. One of my friend (elder in the family) is doing srartham every year with his brothers. As I know srartham should be performed separately. The Vathiyar suggested that since mother is alive all the bothers can do it together. please clarify. Any reference about this தர்ம சாஸ்த்ரம்?.

The vathiyar also said that for any reason if the elder son does the srartham separately one time, then srarthem should be performed separately for the subsequent years.

Please clarify.
