May I know the date when gokulashtami festival falls for yajurveda vadagalai iyengars. also, why dates vary sectwise so far as festivals r concerned.

It is not depending on yajur veda or some other veda.
You have to know what is your sampradayam.
There are three sampradayams in Iyengar:
1. Pancharatram - Sri Ahobilamdam shishyas & Then Kalai Iyengars
2. Munithrayam - Srimath Andavan Shishyas
3. Vaikanasam - Koil Bhattachars mostly belongs to this category.

Adiyen is the eldest son, My amma attained acharyan's thiruvadi this
June 2011. I am a gruhastha and would like to know what is the
procedure for Avani Avittam and Gayathri Japam. My brother is a
brahma chari and I would like to know what is the procedure for Avani
Avittam and Gayathri Japam for him too for this year.

Adiyen's Grand father attained acharyan thiruvadi this February 2011.
my Appa is jyestha kumara and he is the kartha.I would like to know
what is the procedure for avani avittam and Gayathri japam for him. He
has four brothers (all gruhasthas) and what is the procedure for them
for Avani avittam and Gayathri japam.

What is the procedure for Avani avittam and gayathri japam for the
Grand children of my Thatha (My chittappas sons). some of them are
gruhasthas and some of them are brahmacharis.

Everybody should do the Upakarma & Gayathri Japam As usual as every year.
Celebrating the pandikai is dropped willingly (not banned by shastra).
The persons who are under ten day theetu should also do the upakarma on next powrnami,
but gayathri japam can not be done.
