Doing srartham when wife cannot participate

Swami,

Daasasya Vigyaapanam.

Srartham of my friend's father falls tomorrow. His mother is alive and has one more brother who is also married.

They have been doing srartham together at one place.

From Yesterday, my friend's wife is out of house on 3 days monthly theetu.

One Swami is telling srartham can be performed without having 'Oupaasanaagni' as the same has to be done with
wife - and with loukika agni the srartham has to be performed tomorrow only as per thithi

Another swami is telling, so far the srartham had been done with wife and hence, when wife could not participate
it has to be performed in the next thithi only .

Kindlly clarify :

whether the srartham (paarvana homam) has to be performed only tomorrow with agni created by the kartha
Or
whether agni can be brought by his brother's wife .... whether it would be correct
or
If brother's wife also cannot participate, using 'loukika agni' whether srartha homam can be performed
Or
Whether postponement of srartham is correct as was suggested by another swami

On any reason except theetu like pangali death or child birth the shradham should not be postponed.

There are many methods given to complete the shradham.
Many are thinking that doing anything in the hardest way is primary and other ways are secondary and not the quality one.
This feeling is wrong.
All the method allowed by Shastra are equally good and perfect.

Now the direct reply for your question:
Aupasanam is a Nithya Karma which is not a main part of Shradham.
Aupasanam should be done with pathni. But this Auspasanam is also having some procedures to do without pathni
when she is in periods.
You have not mentioned about their Sutram and Vedam.
If they are belong to Sama Vedam then there is a method called "Paani Homam"
which has the complete procedures as Parvana Homam but without Agni it should be done.

If they are Yajur vedam, then the elder kartha is having the option to do the Aupasanam without pathni
some grass will be added while doing the Aupasana homam.

On any account younger brother's pathnis agni should not be used to do the shradham by the elder brother.

As per shastram shradham to be done separately by each brother unless they are not living together in the same house and sharing the same food everyday.
