உண்மை எது உண்மையற்றது எது என்பவற்றைக் கண்டறிவதே நிஜமான விவேகம் ஆகும். ஸ்ரீஹரி யைப்பற்றி அறியாமல் பண்டரிபுரம் செல்வதால் என்னபயன் ஏற்படப் போகிறது? வெறுமனே ஆலயத்திற்குச் சென்றுவருவது உண்மையான பக்தியோடு செய்யப்படுவது அல்ல. பிறர் தன்னை மதிக்கவேண்டும்
என்ற எண்ணத்தினால் செய்யப்படுவதே அன்றி வேறென்ன

It is true that generally all of us visit the temples with bhakti to pay our obeisance to the presiding deity and not with any other

motive. At the most everyone prays for the well being of all. The only sad part is that we do not make it a regular habit and

do it at our convenience. Another common trait I would like to point out amongst us is that invariably most of us discuss mundane

affairs in the sanctum much to the annoyance of other bhaktas. Our purpose of visit to the temple gets defeated if we do not

concentrate on our prayers.

இப்பொழுதெல்லாம் கோயில்களில் வருமானத்திற்கே அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கிறார்கள். 80 களில், காரைக்குடி கற்பக விநாயகர் கோயிலிலும், மதுரை மீனாக்ஷி அம்மன் கோயிலிலும் ஏகாந்தமாக தரிசனம் செய்தது போல் இப்பொழுது முடிவதில்லை. நான் மதுரையில் இருப்பதால் இவ்விரு கோயில்களைப் பற்றி குறிப்பிடுகிறேன்.

எனவே, நமக்குள் இருக்கும் இறைவனைக் காண முயல்வதே, சிறந்த சாதனையாகும்.

பகவான் ஸ்ரீ சத்ய சாய் பாபா, கூறிய ஒரு சின்னக் கதையை இங்கு பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன்.

காட்டு வழியில் வேகமாகச் சென்று கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு மனிதன், ஒரு பாழடைந்த ஆழமான கிணற்றுள் விழுந்து விடுகிறான். விழும் போது பக்கவாட்டில் நீட்டிக் கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு மரத்தின் வேரைக் கெட்டியாகப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டு மேலும் கீழே விழாமல் சமாளித்துக் கொள்கிறான். பல மணி நேரம் சென்ற பின், மனிதர்கள் வரும் அரவம் கேட்டு காப்பாற்றுமாறு கூச்சல் போடுகிறான். அவர்கள் அவன் மேலே ஏறி வர வசதியாக கயிற்றைப் போடுகிறார்கள்.
இப்பொழுது அவன் மரத்தின் வேரை விட்டு விட்டு கயிற்றைப் பிடித்தால், காப்பாற்றப் படுவான். அதை விடுத்து, "நான் கீழே விழாமல் இந்த வேர்தான் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றியது. எனவே இந்த வேரை விடுத்து அந்தக் கயிற்றைப் பற்றினால், நான் நன்றி மறந்தவனாவேன்" என்று கருதினால் அவன் பிழைக்க முடியாது.
வேரின் மீது பாசம் இருக்கலாம் ஆனால் பந்தம் இருக்கக் கூடாது. பந்தம் நம்மை முக்தி அடைய விடாது.
இதிலிருந்து நாம் அறிந்து கொள்வது என்னவென்றால், நம்மைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களிடம் பாசத்துடன் இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் அது பந்தமாக மாறாமல் பார்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நம் குறிக்கோள் முக்தியை நோக்கியே இருக்க வேண்டும்.

"THOUGHT FOR THE DAY"
You fill your days with unremitting labour, immersed in perpetual anxiety and worry, you are busy beyond description, with no time to silently contemplate God’s handiwork. You are troubled by strange inexplicable misgivings and run helter-skelter after hollow comforts, blinded by hate and greed. Caught in this toil and turmoil, you sometimes lose the knowledge of the anchor that will save you - disciplining of the mind. Start this spiritual discipline as early as possible in life, do not postpone it any further. For, no one knows when the span of life will be brought to a close. Reflect on it. Knock and the doors of Grace will open. Open the door, the Sun’s rays waiting outside your door will flow silently in and flood your room with love and light.

The Temple of Healing
This is a poem written by one of my sai friends. Hope you all will like it.

Temples are remedy for the mind fragments,
Hospitals are remedy for the body ailments,
God there and doctors here – “Vaidyo Narayano Harihi.”
Those days - Doctors were “God in form”,
But modern (mode to earn) doctors for a poor man say – God informed.
Thus the needy one is called ‘patient’,
To receive the grace of the Lord too we need to be patient.

Why do we suffer?
Since unto God we never surrender;
Of the 84 lakh species only man demands,
Defies, denies and defines to God,
While the rest silently surrender to His will.
So diseases are on the rise, hospitals are its price.
A board in a hospital read – Health is wealth.
But beside it was another counter, rather an encounter – the billing department.
Truly here health is wealth.

When dharma declines, God incarnates
So came SAI – our fortunate,
To wipe the tears of the less fortunate;
God descends for man to ascend
To ascend means from humanity to divinity
Human means unity of thought, word and deed
Unity is experienced with a sound body and a sound mind
So Swami initiated the Temple of Healing - Love in action
For to love means to feel
To feel means to serve
To serve means Sai in action
When Sai is in action – cure is certain
Hence to love is to heal.



The Temple of Healing connotes –
The reception signifies the gopura kalasha
The central hall the dwaja sthamba
Departments are the sanctum sanctorum
Seva dals the ganas and the devas,
Nurses the Mother Trinity
Doctors the Trinity personifications;

Trinity means creation, sustenance and destruction.
Creation means to diagnose,
Sustenance means line of treatment and
Destruction means operation.
The Vedas say even the Trinity are under the Supreme vicinity
So also the doctors serve under SAI vicinity.
Vicinity is vision eternity;
So the doctors, the staff, the nurses, the patients too are SAIs
Love is their language and bliss is their fees.
Thus the Temple of Healing is now world renowned
A fruit of seva of the Sai pronounced.
