Sandhyavandahnam -During theetu

Dear Swamin

Sandhaya vandhanam has to be carried out during theetu days also. It is allowed to use vibuthi and kumkum before sandhyavandhanam.

Normally during theetu days vibuthi and kumkum is not used.

Please advise

SANDHYA vandhanam is must even in theetu
but wearing of kukum is restricted.

Sri:
I am not sure about Vibhuti, but with the best of my knowledge, Vibhuti will not be used even when shradham like karmas performed.
It will be used only after karma, so, I think Vibhuti also restricted to wear while theetu.
