Garuda Puranam is speaking about the soul and some after effects of Papam and punyam attained by the soul
so, it is decided will be appropriate while doing the death karma.
While there is a chance to spend the time to reduce papam and increase punyam
why to read about the judgement?
Also, I again and again stressing,
A prapannan who did his Bharnyasam is no need to worry about all these things, because all of his Papams and Punyams are
waived on the day of Bharanyasam and further a forward (like call forward) is set to redirect all the papams and punyams to Emperuman's
account from that day.
So, a sim card (life) with an active account and with nil balance is enough to maintain this.

So, I request you to do not worry about all this happenings.
