Before Shradham restriction for kartha

Dear mama

Adyen Dasan. I have a question about srardham.

My father’s srardham is during the month of Vaikasi. I would like to know about the restrictions to be strictly observed before the srardham such as avoid eating outside the house, avoid doing shavaram etc., How many days before one should start observing these things.

Now here is the short reply for your question, but also I have uploaded a pdf file "Shradham Important shastrams"

The Kartha should not take outside food, and should avoid shaving from minimum 15 days (one paksham) before shradham.
Shastra is requesting the kartha to keep this restriction at least in the previous day, shrdha day and next day.
