    Ayodhya Kaanda - Sarga 95
In this Sarga, Rāma continues to describe the beauty of the Vana to Seetā, specifically of river Mandākini. He expresses his sentiment that his mind does not even think of Ayōdhyā and the kingdom, in the company of Seetā and Lakshmaṇa and the captivating beauty of that lovely place.
    atha ṡailādviniṣkramya maithilīṃ kōsalēṡvaraḥ ।
    adarṡayacchubhajalāṃ ramyāṃ mandākinīṃ nadīm ॥
Then, getting down from the mountain,
the lord of Kōsala pointed out the
lovely river Mandākini, of auspicious waters,
    to the princess of Mithilā.

the beautiful daughter of the King of Vidēha,
of lovely moon-like face and shapely hips:

    with its picturesque sand-flats,
the swans and Sārasa cranes crowding on it
and with its abundant lotus flowers!
    nānāvidhaistīraruhairvṛtāṃ puṣpaphaladrumaiḥ ।
    rājantīṃ rājarājasya nalinīmiva sarvataḥ ॥
Surrounded by numerous kinds of trees growing
on its banks, with their loads of fruit and flower,
it dazzles the eye like lake Nalini of Rājarāja!
    Rājarāja is Kubēra.

where the water is turbid now
owing to herds of deer having just drunk there,
    make me joyfully excited.

My darling! the Ṛshis with matted locks,
    clad in deer-skin and wearing
tree bark for their upper garment,
bathe in this river Mandākini regularly.

    pādapaiḥ patrapuṣpāṇi sṛjadbhirabhitō nadīm ॥
    With the trees shedding
flowers and leaves all about the river
as their tops sway with the wind,
the mountain looks as if it is dancing!

Look at this Mandākini which in places
shines with its crystal clear water,
    in others with sand-flats and
    at others crowded with Siddhas!

O beautiful one, seeing Citrakūṭa and Mandākini,
    and especially you, gives me
more pleasure than life in the city!

    nityavikṣōbhitajalāṃ vigāhasva mayā saha ॥
Bathe along with me in this river
whose waters are regularly stirred by the Siddhas
who have freed themselves from all afflictions by
the virtue of their Tapa, self-restraint and serenity.

as if you are her friend, with those
red and white lotuses pressed into the waters.
    tvaṃ paurajanavadvyālānayōdhyāmiva parvatam ।
manyasva vanitē nityaṃ sarayūvadimāṃ nadīm ॥
    Consider always, my lady,
    this mountain as Ayōdhyā,
    this wildlife as the citizens,
and this river as the Sarayu.

Lakshmaṇa the Dharmātma ever ready to do my bidding,
and you being always amiable to me, make me very happy.

nāyōdhyāyaina rājyāya spṛhayē'dya tvayā saha ॥
Now, enjoying three baths a day and
eating honey, roots and fruits along with you,
my mind does not even think of Ayōdhyā or the kingdom.

    nasō'sti yassyānna gataklamassukhī ॥
There cannot be any one who is not
happy and does not get over his fatigue
by taking bath in this lovely river,
which is frequented by deer herds,
whose waters are adorned by wads of flowers
and are drunk by elephants, lions and monkeys.

    cacāra ramyaṃ nayanāñjanaprabhaṃ
    sa citrakūṭaṃ raghuvaṃṡavardhanaḥ ॥
Rāma, the enhancer of the lineage of Raghu,
saying many such words of admiration about the river,
    sauntered along with Seetā,
    on that Citrakūṭa mountain
that had the shine of mascara.
