In your apthikam.pdf document with details for varshabdhikam, you have mentioned the following for 6 swamis each to be given:
- dhoti, sombu, kulapathram, vetalai, pakku, etc
Locally, the priest mentioned about shodasa danam and go danam and dasa danam - are these danams in our tradition? What is mandatory and what are optional?

Sri:
Dhanams are listed as part of Sapindikaranam
not required (not a must) and not in normal practice in Varusha Apthikam (year end ceremony).
But doing dhanam will always good and yield punyam.
