    Brahma Deva

The first creation of Brahma Deva was a girl. She was extremely beautiful. Brahma had three 'Gunas'. The Rajoguna which inspires Kama, had imbalanced his mind and aroused intense longing for the girl. She remembered Brahmaji that she had born to him and was his daughter. Her wise counsels could not open the eyes of Brahma. Eventualy Brahma was rejected by her. This rejection had upwelled 'Krodha' (Auger) in him and he went onto curse ' his first creation' to born as bamboo shrub upon the Earth. At that very time, six sons of Maharshi Mareechi arrived there to learn Brahma vidya from Brahmaji. Witnessing the ignominious action of Brhama they ridiculed him. And enraged Bramha cursed all of them too. They eventually born to Devaki Devi and Vasudeva and later killed by Kamsa, in the city Mathura. The reason behind this shameful happening was but the Rafogune latent in Brhama.

Man and woman run after each other unknowingly. This mutual attraction can be seen in Devatas, Hiumans Aminals worms and also in flowers. This is the secret of Nature.
    Soubhari Maharshi

Maharshi Soubhari was one of the most powerful among Rishis. With an intention to overcome Kama (desire) he was doing Tapas underneath a river adopting Jalasthambahan Vidya (a power to halt respiration underneath the water). Thus the Maharshi had performed meditation for ten thousand years. One day Maharshi saw a fish dual engaged in erotic flirtations and eventually lost control over his mind and senses. Inspite of thousands of years of meditation, the great Rishi got disturbed. With this state of mind Soubhari visited the court of Emperor Mandhatha and orderd him to marry his fifty daughters to him. The Emperor respectfully confessed, "Maharshi, we are Kshatriyas (clan of rulers). We have a tradition of the bride choosing the groom of her choice. But ...you are an old man of hundred years. "Oh ! King, Let me see your daughters first and if anyone chooses me as her groom, I will marry her. Why do you at all worry about your daughters" replied Soubhari smilingly.

In the meantime the powerful Maharshi ordered Manmadha to lend him his beautiful form and the Manmadha had to obey the order of Maharshi. Watching Soubhari shining with the beauty of Manmadha all the fifty daughters of the emperor preferred to marry him.

Mutual attraction betwen male and female exists throughout nature. Such intimate attraction is its secret.

The mind attached to the service of the Lord always inclines towards the Lord and that attached to Maya prefers to live in meanness and narrowness.

The mind of a pure Jeeva is likened to smooth and clean mirror. That mind is hardly affected by worldy impressions and that mind easily reflects Divine Love, Divine power and Divine Life.

The Jeeva's mind which ought to have been filled with the love of the Lord had given place to outer pleasures and fascinations. Once the impressions of enjoyment of wordly pleasures arc firmly laid on the mind the course of life will be altered. The Jeeva constantly living in the desirliness of outer objects, surely debases himself to inferior state.

Like an eye affected by cataract cannot see the world, the Jeeva's mind which is obliterated by the impressions of worldliness unable to perceive the Divine presence.
