sarvalaṅkāvināṡinīm ॥
Know that she, whom you think
as Seetā and is under your control,
is none other than the
Night that brings Time to an end,
ready to destroy the entire Laṅkā.

you should worry about your own wellbeing!

and worsened by the rage of Rāma.

யோ ராமம் ப்ரதியுத்யேத
விஷ்ணுதுல்யபராக்ரமம் ॥
dēvāsuranarēndrēṣu
yakṣarakṣōgaṇēṣu ca ।
vidyādharēṣu sarvēṣu
gandharvēṣūragēṣu ca ।
siddhēṣu kinnarēndrēṣu
patatriṣu ca sarvataḥ ।
sarvabhūtēṣu sarvatra< br>sarvakālēṣu nāsti saḥ ।
yō rāmaṃ pratiyudhyēta
viṣṇutulyaparākramam ॥
There is no one among Dēvas, Asuras,
the leaders of men, hosts of Yakshas, Rākshasas,
all Vidyādharas, Gandharvas, Uragas, Siddhas,
Kinnaras, birds from every direction,
all creatures in all places, at any time
who could stand against and fight with Rāma
who is comparable to Vishṇu in prowess.

With you committing such a grave offence
against Rāma, lion among kings
and the lord of all the worlds,
your life is at extreme risk.

O lord of night-rovers! All the Dēvas, Daityas,
Gandharvas, Vidyādharas, Nāgas, Yakshas,
together, cannot stand against Rāma,
the master of the three worlds, in fight.

brahmā svayambhūṡcaturānanō vā
rudrastriṇētrastripurāntakō vā ।
indrō mahēndrassuranāyakō vā
trātuṃ na ṡaktā yudhi rāmavadhyam ॥
Neither Brahma the Four-Faced, Self-Created,
nor Rudra the Triple-eyed
who destroyed the three cities,
nor Indra the great lord of the Suras,
can save anyone who deserves death
at the hands of Rāma in a fight.

கபேர்நிஸம்யாப்ரதிமோऽப்ரியம் வச: ।

sa sauṣṭhavōpētamadīnavādinaḥ
kapērniṡamyāpratimō'priyaṃ vacaḥ ।
daṡānanaḥ kōpavivṛttalōcanaḥ
samādiṡattasya vadhaṃ mahākapēḥ ॥
Having heard those strong words
of the peerless Vānara,
who spoke with no fear, the
words that were so unpleasant,
the Ten-Faced rolled his eyes in anger
and ordered the great Vānara to be killed.
இத்யார்ஷே வால்மீகீயே
ஸ்ரீமத்ராமாயணே ஆதிகாவ்யே
ஸுந்தரகாண்டே ஏகபஞ்சாஸஸ்ஸர்க:॥
ityārṣē vālmīkīyē
ṡrīmadrāmāyaṇē ādikāvyē
sundarakāṇḍē ēkapańcāṡassargaḥ॥
