இதம் வசநமப்ரவீத் ॥
jāmbavān sa hariṡrēṣṭhaḥ
prītisaṃhṛṣṭamānasaḥ ।
upāmantrya harīn sarvān
idaṃ vacanamabravīt ॥
Jāmbavan, the foremost of Vānaras,
his heart rejoicing in delight,
called upon all the Vānaras
and said these words:

ஸர்வதா க்ருதகார்யோऽஸௌ
ஹநுமாந்நாத்ர ஸம்ஸய: ।

sarvathā kṛtakāryō'sau
hanumānnātra saṃṡayaḥ ।
na hyasyākṛtakāryasya
nāda ēvaṃvidhō bhavēt ॥
Hanumān, without a doubt, has
accomplished his mission in its fullness.
If he had not been successful with his mission,
his shout would not have sounded like this.

நிநாதம் ச மஹாத்மந: ।

ninādaṃ ca mahātmanaḥ ।
niṡamya harayō hṛṣṭāḥ
samutpētustatastataḥ ॥
Hearing the shouts of that Mahātma and
the rush of the air under his arms and thighs,
the Vānaras jumped all over that place in their ecstasy.

ṡikharācchikharāṇi ca ।
prahṛṣṭāḥ samapadyanta
hanūmantaṃ didṛkṣavaḥ ॥
Eagar to see Hanumān and in their ecstasy,
they leapt from the top of one tree to the other
and from one peak to the other.

tē prītāḥ pādapāgrēṣu
gṛhya ṡākhāḥ suviṣṭhitāḥ ।
vāsāṃsīva praṡākhāṡca
samāvidhyanta vānarāḥ ॥
In their happiness, holding on to the boughs
and stationing themselves well,
they shook the smaller branches
as one would wave a piece of cloth
(as a welcoming gesture).

ēvaṃ jagarja balavān
hanumānmārutātmajaḥ ॥
(They heard) the mighty Hanumān,
the son of Vāyu, roaring
like the wind blowing through
the aisles of the valleys of a mountain.

tamabhraghanasaṅkāṡam
āpatantaṃ mahākapim ।
dṛṣṭvā tē vānarāssarvē
tasthuḥ prāñjalayastadā ॥
Seeing that great Vānara,
who was as huge as a cloud, land,
all those Vānaras stood up and greeted him
with their palms joined in reverence.

கிரேர்கிரிநிப: கபி: ।

girērgirinibhaḥ kapiḥ ।
nipapāta mahēndrasya
ṡikharē pādapākulē ॥
Then the mountainous Vānara of great speed
landed on the peak of Mahēndra mountain
which had a thick cover of trees.

ramyē parvatanirjharē ।
chinnapakṣa ivā'kāṡāt
papāta dharaṇīdharaḥ ॥
Swelling with joy, he then landed
on a lovely stream on that mountain,
like a mountain whose wings had been lopped off.

sarvē vānarapuṅgavāḥ ।
hanumantaṃ mahātmānam
parivāryōpatasthirē ।
parivārya ca tē sarvē
parāṃ prītimupāgatāḥ ॥
All those bulls among Vānaras,
their hearts filled with joy,
crowded around Hanumān, the Mahātma.
Standing around him, all of
them felt extremely happy.

ஹரயோ மாருதாத்மஜம் ॥
prahṛṣṭavadanā ssarvē
tamarōgamupāgatam ।
upāyanāni cādāya
mūlāni ca phalāni ca ।
pratyarcayan hariṡrēṣṭham
harayō mārutātmajam ॥
Their faces gleaming with joy on seeing him
return without even a mild indisposition,
those Vānaras received the son of Vāyu,
that foremost of Vānaras, bringing him
offerings of fruits and roots.

ஹநுமாம்ஸ்து குரூந் வ்ருத்தாந்

hanumāṃstu gurūn vṛddhān
jāmbavatpramukhāṃstadā ।
kumāramaṅgadaṃ caiva
sō'vandata mahākapiḥ ॥
Hanumān, the great Vānara, also
paid obeisance to all those who were
senior to him in age and position
like Jāmbavan and the youthful Aṅgada and said:

ஸ தாப்யாம் பூஜித: பூஜ்ய:
கபிபிஸ்ச ப்ரஸாதித: ।

sa tābhyāṃ pūjitaḥ pūjyaḥ
kapibhiṡca prasāditaḥ ।
dṛṣṭā sītēti vikrāntaḥ
saṃkṣēpēṇa nyavēdayat ॥
He, who deserved all the respects,
was given the regard due to him by them.
He, of great prowess, then reported
in a succinct manner, ‘Seetā is found!’

ஹநுமாநப்ரவீத்த்ருஷ்ட:
ததா தாந்வாநரர்ஷபாந் ॥
niṣasāda ca hastēna
gṛhītvā vālinassutam ।
ramaṇīyē vanōddēṡē
mahēndrasya girēstadā ।
hanumānabravīddhṛṣṭaḥ
tadā tānvānararṣabhān ॥
Taking Vāli’s son by the hand, Hanumān then
sat down at a pleasant spot on the Mahēndra mountain
and joyously told those bulls among Vānaras:
