    Yuddha Kaanda - Sarga 38
In this Sarga, Rāma, Lakshmaṇa and the Vānaras climb the Suvēla mountain to rest for the night. Getting on top of the mountain, they see Laṅkā, whose ramparts are filled with the Rākshasa forces. Ready for the fray, they shout at them. With the sun setting and moon rising, they call it a day and sleep comfortably through the night.

Having made up his mind to go up the Suvēla mountain,
Rāma, who was followed by Lakshmaṇa,
spoke in a very gentle voice to Sugreeva and
    also to Vibheeshaṇa, the Night-Rover
who was well-versed in Dharma and
who was good at planning and
well-versed with the science of strategy:

    and spend the night there.

carried off my wife, earning death for himself.
