A Thought on our Puja Room

With more and more Families move over to Apartment Complexes, Puja rooms arebecoming smaller and smaller and there is hardly any place to keep the Deitypictures anywhere inside the home.

Builders do not provide much space or any space for Puja room in a Two Bedroomed Flats, So the Deity Pictures are kept in a small cup board only.

A lot of Deity Pictures, in most homes are put in a very small space, wherewe ourselves do not feel comfortable, it becomes very hard to clean thesePictures;behind these Deity Pictures , Lizards and Cockroaches take shelter !!

How you would feel , if these insects sits behind your back all the time !!

Keep less number of Deities, and make it a point to clean them ( includingbehind these deity pictures ) and put some anti Insects tablets behind them.

More over when after your period, disposing off these Deity Pictures willbecome a problem as none of your closest siblings would take them to theirforeign land.

Keep the place more ventilated and one should feel the place worth sittingand praying.

You should not feel suffocated sitting there doing your deity prayers.

The purpose of a Puja room is to uplift our mind and hence improve our interaction in this world throughout our day.
Keep less number of Deity Pictures, and the place should reverberate withDivinity, and your Loving God should always bless you and your family.
