Mama/mami's son is ammanji and daughter is ammanga.

Athan- dad's sister's son
Athangar- dad's sister's daughter
Naathanaar is the sister/s of husband.
Orpadi - is the wife of one's husband's brother
manni - Elder brother's wife

Athai- Dad's sister ( Athai/Athimber's son is atthaan and daughter is atthanga).
Athai Magal- Athai's daughter.. very sought by Athimber's sons..
Athimber- Athai's husband
Shaddagar- Both sister's husbands
Aththanmanni- Athan's wife

Chinna Veedu- Chakalathi- VEPPAATTI.. Very common in olden days
Onnu vitta means one step away from the main - onnu vitta brother is a cousin. Onnu vitta chitthappa is father's cousin. Onnu vitta mama means mother's cousin.
if one marries two woman-
The first wife is -MOOTHAL and the second wife is Illayal

Usually we brahmin boys address wife's parents as Mama and Mami.
Wife use -Engattukarar, ambadaiyan are still used by old timers..
