    Conscious, Conscience, Consciousness.

Your conscience is the part of your personality that helps you determine between right and wrong. It is what makes you feel guilty when you do something bad and good when you do something kind.

Your conscious, on the other hand, is your awareness of yourself and the world around you. In the most general terms, it means being awake and aware

Your consciousness refers to your conscious experiences, your individual awareness of your own internal thoughts, feelings, memories, and sensations.

Consciousness is often thought of as a stream, constantly shifting according to the ebb and flow of your thoughts and experiences of the world around you.

    Sri Sathya Sai Baba says:

"It is difficult to understand the nature of this principle of consciousness. There are three aspects of this consciousness, depending upon its association with specific aspects of the human personality.

When this consciousness or awareness is associated with the senses, we use the term “conscious”.

When it is associated with the mind, we call it “conscience”, and when it is associated with the Self, it is pure consciousness.

These three terms are being used in daily parlance for convenience, just as we call one doctor a heart specialist, another doctor an E.N.T. specialist, and so on. But all of them are doctors."
