Should Start Tarpanam immediately after Sapindikaranam or from 2nd Year?

My father passed away in May 2011
we have been performing the masyams & oonam
i want to know whether we have to do the tharpanam on amavasais and masa pirappu.
right now i do only amavasai tharpanam.
seeking your advice

Sri:
the discrepancy due to not knowing / not understanding the change in the
"Sapindikarana" Karma, which should be done at the end of one year, on that
particular thithi which occurs on coming next year. Due to the instability of
human upto one year, the same karma was preponed to 12th day.
When the sapindikaranam is preponed its successive part tharpanam also to be
preponed is the logic.

Some purohits (generally Iyer vadyars ) say that regular tarpanams are to be performed only after first anniversary of death or tarpanams are to be started from punya kalams. However once sapindkaranam has been completed, the dharsa/sangramana tarpanams should be performed.
Further some say that the it is enough if the first son alone performs the tarpanams. It is not correct.
