When caught in tricky or compelling situations, use YUKTHI

A hunter was pursuing a deer which in its frantic attempts to escape, entered the cave of a sadhu. Looking at the frightened deer, the sage hid it in the dark cavern. The hunter soon arrived and started questioning the wise man about the deer.

Now the holy man was caught in a dilemna. If he spoke the truth, the deer would be harmed.
But he could not utter a lie either. So he closed his eyes and prayed to the Lord for help.
This is what he was prompted to say.

He calmly and peacefully told the hunter:

The eye that has seen cannot speak.
the tongue that can speak cannot see.
    So,dear one,I cannot help you.

    The bewildered hunter went away.

When caught in tricky or compelling situations, use YUKTHI or tact. A quick prayer helps.

    OR

Say what has to be said, but without rancor, in a peaceful manner.
