Points and awards.

All these days I have not seen this title under utility. Today when I went through the list I find some points are being awarded to members as experience points(most). To me it is found that only 1or maxximum 4 points for any thread posted even when I take part in the forum daily. But for someone who neither takes part in the forum or post any thread gets more than 10 to 30 or even more points. How and on what basis these points are awarded is not known to me. If I know the yardstick being used in awarding points it will go a long way to me to understand and act accordingly.What is the use of posting threads daily and get lesser points instead of keeping quite for a week or ten days and get more points. Hope I will be enlightened in this matter.
