    Apart from the fact that the Temple area gets dirty and because of a scientific reason behind it:


    The nerves giving sensation to all the organs end at the bottom of the feet. When walking with bare foot, the terminals of the nerves n blood vessels get activated due to pressure n the close contact created on feet stepping on hard surface.

    It is a kind of acupressure therapy which cures or protects against most of the nerve-related disorders.

    Also the ambience of temple rejuvenates our brain by supplying more oxygen. This is the reason why we feel relaxed after visiting temples.
