    Shri:

    Adiyen's dasa vignyabanam.

After I posted help for arranging cab for pilgrimage to Navathirupathi, many kindhearted souls came forward to help. With few of your help I was able to contact Shri. Krishnan of Vanamamali (+919444075064) who made arrangement for a cab driver named Shri. Murugan (+919443285264). With their help and of course with His sankalpam, we had dharisanam of Navathirupathi and other two temples.

The detailed travelogue is as follows:
My mother and myself started the journey from Egmore by Thiruchendur express which started at 16:05. It reached Tirunelveli at 07:00 hours with a delay of an hour. Driver Shri. Murugan was waiting with his Logan car. We headed to Azhwarthirunagari and reached Ahobila mutt. I had already contacted Smt. Mythili Srinivasan (+918903831865), wife of aaradhakar of Ahobila mutt. She arranged a room in 2nd floor which had a common western toilet and bath room. After snanam and nithyanusandanam, we came down to the mutt where we saw another family. After having breakfast, Mythili mami recommended to start the pilgrimage with dharisanam of Ramanujar and HH RangaRamanuja Jeer of AzhwarThirunagari.

We had dharisanam of Udayavar (bhavishya acharya idol under adhisheshan) and prostrated at feet of the Jeer swami who blessed us with his small anugraha bashanam and mantrakshadhai.

We were able to finish dharisanam of seven temples as the temple of varagunamangai temple was closed. We headed back to the ahobila mutt were we witnessed thirumanjanam of 1st Jeer of Ahobila mutt. Then after we had lunch and relaxed till 16:00. Then we started to varagunamangai and then returned back to Azhwarthirunagari to spend the rest of the day.

On second day we vacated the room at ahobila mutt (paid Rs.200/- as sambhavanai to room, ~Rs.400 as sambavanai to Smt. Mythili mami and Rs.500 for aradhana during month of dhanur). We headed to Nanguneri and was there by 7:45 to see viswaroopa tharisanam. Sri. Vanamaamalai Krishnan swamin was present at the the entrance who took us in and made us to have a good dharisanam. Then we had dharisanam of thaila thirumanjanam, which is the specialty of the temple. Swamin arranged temple prasadham (dosai) which we had at his thirumaaligai. We departed to Thirukurungudi by 9:00.

After having the dharisanam of one Nambi (the other two Nambi sannidhis are under renovation and hence was locked), we proceeded to Malai mel Nambi by jeep (Charges: Rs.700 + Rs.20 per jeep) which was a unique ride. One unsolicited bagawathal (guide) came with us who was entertaining with his devotional songs. It was around noon when we returned back and we were dropped at Shri. Sridhar swami's thirumaligai (04632-265457) with whom we had already requested lunch and shelter for afternoon. This swami is the aaradhakar of Desikan sannidhi at Thirukurungudi. After having lunch there we spent few hours relaxing and by 16:00 Sridhar swami had arranged to open Nambi sannadhi at Thiruparkadal and arranged a bhatter to accompany us to have dharisanam of Thiruvattaparai and Thiruvarisu.

With that bhattar swami, we visited Thiruvattaparai and Udayvar sannidhi. Then we went to Thiruparkadal sannidhi to have dharisanam of Nambi (with this 5 Nambis in total, two unseen as work is progressing). Then we headed to Thiruvarasu, the temple of Thirumangai Azhawar. Thirumangai Azhawar attained his eternal adobe at this kshethram and coincidently the day we went was Kaarthigai-Kaarthigai, thirunakshathram of Thirumangai Azhwar.

After finishing the dharisanam, we headed back to Tirunelveli and boarded the train Kanyakumari express at 19:00. We had requested Sridhar swami to pack us dinner and we had it on route.

The total distance covered was less than 300kms in total, which was as per the travel package of the cab. We paid Rs.3600 for two days to Shri. Murugan who was a fabulous and pious gentlemen knowing places and bhatters very well. Also, he is the driver of Jeer swami of Vanamaamalai.

Again, thanks for all baghawathals who helped us.

    Dasan,
    Narayanan
