Doing Sandyavandana is Nithya Karma. Therefore, it has to be performed . V.Purushothaman, Coimbatore

As doing त्रिकाल सन्ध्यावन्दनम् is mandatory for a brahmin, nothing further to be very much worried.
A visit to kamakoti.org and the Tamil viewing of it from வேத தர்மசாஸ்திர பரிபாலன சபை articles especially on various normal नित्यकर्मा like सन्ध्यावन्दनम् you are supposed get all your doubts cleared.
