Not all soups are healthy.Best are those clear coups withlots ofvegetables.
Here is a fibre rich soup, keeps you satiated so that you donot overeat.
VEGETABLE SOUP WITH OATS
INGREDIENTS
1/2 carrot...chopped
1/2 onion....chopped
2 tsp peas
Few florets of cauliflower
4-5 french beans..chopped
3-4 cloves of garlic..finely chopped
1 tbsp of oats powder
1 cup of water
Salt and black pepper powder..to taste
Method
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic andonion and saute till onions are transluscent
Add vegetables and saute for 5 mins
Add a cup of water, salt and pepper and bring to boil.
Simmer till veggies are tender. To this mix add oats powder.
Serve hot garnished with coriander.
