you may use new unwashed dhothy kept inside pooja room ; also you may give provision in your pooja room at the top of the roof one rope or 6 feet aluminium rod to dry the washed dhothy .

Dear Elders,

Please provide insight on what should the Brahmachari wear while performing Sammitadanam. We have been avoiding silk Dhothi. Is it good to wear new (unwashed) cotton dhotis kept inside Pooja room?
please advise.
