Prayaschittam for sitting as Bhoktha in Soundiharana srartham

Daasan. In one of the Soundikarana Srarthathil, adiyenudaina nanbarai, bhokthavaaga
varithullanar. Avar, prayaschitthamaaga ethanai gayathri japam seiya vendum ?
Mahavishnu sthanam, Viswedevar, pithru sthanam and nimiththa sthanam.

Within how many days this gayathri japam has to be done ?
Whether it should be done in one day or can be spread over many days ?
Whether he can start the japam immediately after the soundigarana day or ONLY after 7 days
as there is a saying that for 7 days he cannot partake in any spirtual japam or parayanam ?

Other than the above, what are the other restrictions he has to follow till completion of japam ?

भुक्त्वात् पार्वणश्राद्धं शतमष्टोत्तरं जपेत्।
त्रिंशत्सहस्रमेकाहं जपंकुर्वीत वैद्विजः॥
सापिण्ड्ये दशसाहस्रं नग्नप्रच्छादनेऽपि च।
जपेदष्टसहस्रं तु नवश्राद्धे जपेद्विजः॥
एकोत्तरेतु साहस्रं तथैवामप्रतिग्रहे।


மேற்கண்ட ச்லோகம்தான் தர்மசாஸ்திரத்தில்
“73. ச்ராத்தாதிகளில் போஜனஞ்செய்த தோஷத்திற்காக
செய்யவேண்டிய காயத்ரீ ஜபஸங்க்யாநிர்ணயம்”
என்கிற தலைப்பின் கீழ் தரப்பட்டுள்ளது.


அதன் விளக்கமாவது--
வருடாந்திர பார்வண ச்ராத்தத்தில்
புஜித்தவர் 108 காயத்திரியும்,
11ம் நாள் ஏகாஹத்தில் புஜித்தவர் 30000 காயத்ரியும்,
ஸபிண்டீகரணத்தில் புஜித்தவர் 10000 காயத்ரியும்,
நவச்ராதத்திற்கு 8000,
ஏகோத்ரவ்ருத்திக்கு மற்றும்
ப்ரதிக்ரஹத்திற்கும் 1000 காயத்திரிகள்
ஜபிக்கவேண்டும் என காணப்படுகிறது.


இதன்படி ஸபிண்டீயில் அனைத்து ஸ்தானத்திற்கும்
10000 காயத்ரிகள் ஜபிக்கவேண்டும் என்றாகிறது.
ஆனால் வழக்கத்தில்
ப்ரேத வர்ணம் -15000
பித்ரு வர்ணம் - 10000
விச்வேதேவர் - 7500
விஷ்ணு - 4500 காயத்ரிகள் ஜபித்தால் போறும்
என்று சொல்கிறார்கள்.


7 நாள் வரை பொறுத்திருந்து அதன்பிறகு
ஜபம் ஆரம்பிக்கவேண்டும்.


ஒரு நாளைக்கு அதிகபக்ஷம் 1000 காயத்திரிக்குமேல்
பண்ணக்கூடாது, ஆனால் அதிகபக்ஷம் ஒரு
வருடத்திற்குள் பண்ணிமுடித்துவிடவேண்டும்.


இதில் கருத்துவேறுபாடுகள் உள்ளன.

ஏகோதிஷ்டம் மற்றும் ஸபிண்டியில் உட்கார்ந்தவர் - 1 வருடம்
ஊனங்களுக்கு - 15 நாள்
மாஸ்யங்களுக்கு - 7 நாள்
ப்ரத்யாப்திகத்திற்கு - 2 நாள் கழித்தும் போக்தாவாக உட்காரலாம்
(புஜித்த அன்று விட்டு மறுநாள் 108 காயத்ரி ப்ரத்யாப்திகத்திற்கு அதற்கு அடுத்தநாளே உட்காரலாம்.
ஸோதகும்பத்திற்கு ப்ராயச்சித்தம் கிடையாது அதனால் அடுத்தடுத்த தினத்திலேயே உட்காரலாம்.

In respect of the above subject, some more doubts have arisen and Devareer dayai koorndhu, thezhiyu padutha venumai kettikolkiren swami.

1. Whether the initial 7 days following sapindikarana day are treated as 'vizhuppu' or asoucham (theetu) for the Bhokta
2. Yagyopaveedham to be changed after 7 days or after completion of required Gayatri japam
3. Whether Gayatri japam can be done @500 daily and before starting Japam, whether daily sankalpam to be done
4. What are the DOs and DON'Ts for the Bhokta during the next 7 days
5. Whether sapindikarana bhokta should not participate in the 13th day Shubham if the sapindikarana was for his close relative
6. Whether during the 7 days, kshavaram / mugha shavaram can be done by Bhokta
7. Whether Nadhi snanam and gayatri japam while taking nadhi snanam are stipulated
