  • Vaishnava Janato

The fifteenth century Poet Saint of Gujarat Narsinh Mehta has rendered the qualities of true Vishnava in his famous Poem Vaishnava Jana to. It is also a favorite Bhajan of Gandhiji. It is a wonderful poem. I give below the Gujarati Poem with English translation. Poet Narsi Mehta was a great devotee of Srinathji (Sri Krishna) and it is said that he has written 22,000 kirtans and bhajans in Gujarathi on him. He is known as the first poet in Gujarathi.
